The Land of Oz

Our theme this year for Halloween was the Wizard of Oz. We had fun being a matching family this year. Though I must say I was slightly scared of Andy's scarecrow costume when he wore the hat. For some reason it just freaked me out. Thankfully he took a few family photos without the hat.

Our sweet little Dorothy.

Our little tutu witch. I found this adorable onsie on Etsy. I thought it matched our theme perfectly.

Let the trick or treating begin.

Emma with her friend Megan.

We had a great time trick or treating with our neighbors and showing off our cute kids. By the end of the night Emma was exhausted and running a fever. I felt horrible taking her all around the block but thankfully she was a trooper. Abby slept through the whole thing but I am sure Emma will share some of her candy with her.

Dorothy Rocks Out

Emma got to wear her Dorothy costume to music class on Friday. Here she is rocking out on the drums.

Halloween Parade

Emma's school had a little parade and party for the kids to celebrate Halloween. Abby and I had a fun time watching Emma walk around the Chapel in her Dorothy costume. If they had a prize for cutest costume I think Emma would have won. =)

Emma leading her class into the Chapel.

My cute little Dorothy.

Emma with her classmates. The boy in the overalls (I think he was a sheriff) is Emma's crush. She is always talking about him at home. She got a Halloween treat from him and it was all she could talk about that day and she is still talking about. The little plastic pumpkin he gave to all the classmates is like gold in our house right now.

I think Dorothy just wants to go home now. Emma was done with this whole bit of standing in front of everyone so parents could get as many pictures as possible.

Leg Warmers

When leg warmers came back into style for kids I was not quite sure what I thought of the idea. Then I bought my first pair for Abby to go with her Halloween outfit (which you will see in a few days) and now I am just in love with these things. I just might have to buy more, especially since Abby wears them so well.

Tummy Time

I have become obsessed with tummy time. I am so paranoid that Abby is going to get a flat head. So anytime I can put Abby in tummy time I do.

Emma and Andy wanted to join in on the tummy time fun.

Look at me mom, I can lift my head!

Emma loves when Abby is in tummy time. She goes around saying tummy time. I just love this pic of Emma admiring her baby sister.

My big blue eye baby. Oh I love you so much!!

Can't get enough of her cuteness.

Fall Fest

Our neighborhood school put on its annual Fall Fest this past Friday and we decided to go check it out. They had live music, tons of games, a choo choo train, and food. Of all the things to do, Emma was most interested in the playground.

Emma showing us she no longer needs the baby swing.

Waiting to go fishing for a prize.

Emma fishing. Something did bite and it was a witch tattoo.

Waiting in line for the train.

Emma and me on the train.

I just had to repost this pic to show which one of us got the short end of the stick in the ride with your kid on the choo choo train.

Happy Hour with Papa

Emma enjoys sitting with Papa on the front porch while the both of them enjoy their beverage of choice.
