Holiday Happenings

So many things going on over the holiday season, so I have combined everything into one post.

Trail of Lights with just the girls.

Checking out the neighborhood lights.

With the addition of William, I now have the complete stocking set that I have dreaming about.

Party at Emma's school and listening to Christmas music at our neighbors house.

Abby helping Gammie decorate a little outdoor tree.

Making Christmas cookies.

North Pole party at Ms. Sue Anne's house. Her husband, William, read The Night Before Christmas on the iPad.

Making reindeer food.

Singing Happy Birthday to Jesus.

Abby and Dawson talking about their yummy treats.

Can't believe the month of December is coming to an end. It sure did fly by. We had a blast and made many memories.

Merry Christmas

We had a wonderful, low key Christmas this year. Our day was spent opening presents, talking on skype with family, and eating yummy treats and a delicious feast. The girls loved all their gifts and got tons of princess toys. William enjoyed getting some boy toys and new clothes. It was a blessed day.

Ready to dive into their stockings.

Present opening was not going to keep this little one awake.

Andy's favorite gift of Will's.

Ready to build her Cinderella castle.

Trying on mommy's new slippers.

Taking it all in.

I think the glass slippers fit.

Loving her new jumper.

In awe of her new Belle.

Checking out his new soccer ball hanging from above.

My parents with their new canvas collage of all their kids and grandkids. The best present.

It took so long to open presents, that Will grew a mustache.

We hope everyone had a fabulous Christmas!

All Dressed Up

I am so behind on my blogging, so I think I will have to do some major catch up before the end of the year.

To start off, we got all dressed up for Christmas Eve. The girls wore adorable matching dresses and Will put on his fancy bow tie and suspenders. I think they were the cutest kids at church.

After church, we headed to my parent's house for dinner.

A rare shot of me and Will. I was looking through our Christmas pictures and there are really none of me. Got to fix that bad habit.

Happy 5th Birthday Emma Irene!

Happy 5th Birthday to our sweet Emma!

Our Beautiful Emma,

Wow, can't believe it has already been 5 years since you were born. Your love is a true gift to us and we are so proud to be your parents. Since the moment you came into the world, you have been a girl on the go. In the beginning you were keeping us busy with doctor and therapy appointments and now you are busy with school, friends, and activities. There is never a quiet day with you and I love it. You take after me in wanting to always be on the go and having fun. Your current favorites are:

-Driving your pink Jeep.
-Playing outside with your cars and bikes.
-Going to school and playing with your friends.
-Taking gymnastics lessons.
-Playing with your sister.
-Listening to music.
-Watching Super Why or a Disney Princess movie.
-Playing soccer with your daddy.
-Watching sports with Papa.
-Spending time with Gammie and riding in her car.
-Going anywhere and everywhere around town.

You are a planner and love to know every detail of everything. You get anxious to know what is next on the agenda. There are many times we have to keep from telling you what we have planned because if we do, it is all we will hear about until the activity is over. You just get so excited and it is so cute. I love your enthusiasm for life.

I sometimes feel like you are the Energizer Bunny. You don't stop going until you are ready to go to bed. You don't want to miss a beat and the only way to slow you down is to give you iPad or iPhone time. That is something you want of your very own. I am not ready for you to have your own phone, yet. Don't grow up too quickly on me, my little darling.

The past 5 years have been amazing for all of us. I hope this year brings you nothing but joy and happiness. You deserve the best. I know you are excited to be 5 and I am not ready for it. As you get older, more independence comes your way. I want to keep you small and little and close to me. I love you so much my little girl. You have given me motherhood, which is the best gift. Continue to be strong and sweet and never forget that we love you to pieces and will always be by your side.

5 years old.

The day you were born.

Breakfast with Santa

My moms group at church held their annual Breakfast with Santa. The girls loved doing crafts and talking with Santa. They both told Santa that they want Princess Belle and a magic wand. Hope Santa comes through for them.

Happy Hanukkah

We had a wonderful Hanukkah season this year. The girls loved helping with the lighting of the candles and trying to sing the prayer. I think their favorite part was eating chocolate gelt each night. At the end of the eight nights we gave them princesses nightgowns, which were a big hit and Abby now wants to live in hers.

Christmas Tree Fun

Over the summer, we had a few new neighbors move in. One of them is the owner of Hill Country Water Gardens. He suggested coming out to his business to meet Santa and get a tree. I am so glad we did! The place was beautiful and the girls loved meeting Santa. Also, I always enjoy helping a local business. A much cuter place to get a tree than the Home Depot parking lot.

Emma with Santa.

Abby did not want to sit on his lap but was quick to tell him she wanted Princess Belle for Christmas.

Will needed a chance to talk to the man in red.

Getting ready to find our tree.

A pit stop to see the fish.

I am absolutely in love with these big blue eyes.

In the middle of it all.

I will take this little one. SOLD!

The girls loved the freedom to run.

I highly recommend checking this place out if you still need a tree.
