We are going private

I have decided to make the blog super private, which means only we can decide who can read it. If you are a loyal fan and want to be on the list of people who can view the blog then you must let me know. Leave a comment with your e-mail address or e-mail me directly and then you will be on the list. I will leave the blog open for a little while and once it is private I will send out an e-mail to you letting you know how to view the blog. I have never done this before so please be patient as we figure it out. I do think once I make it private you will have to sign in, so sorry in advance for the extra step.

We hope that many of you will stay interested but if not then thanks for enjoying the blog.

To Grammie's House We Go

Today we had a very fun adventure. We headed downtown to meet up with our friends (Kenzie, Alex, and Annie) at the sprinkler park and then Kenzie's Grammie had us over for lunch and play time. What a treat!! The food was yummy and the garage felt like an indoor playground. You would have never known that it was a garage if it was not for the garage doors. All the kids and adults had a blast and we hope to do it again some time =)

At the sprinkler park.

Emma dancing in hopes of the sprinkler coming back on.

Run Emma! I think we have a future track/cross country star on our hands. Maybe she wants to follow in her mom's footsteps =)

Emma became very popular once she was in her stroller. Annie and Kenzie wanted to buckle her in and push her around. Thanks ladies for the help!
Annie either was enjoying the ruffles or telling Emma that it is ok.

What's for lunch ladies? Eggs and tea?

Shake your rattle girls! At one point all the girls were shaking a rattle but my camera did not move fast enough to catch the girls in action.

Emma enjoyed pushing this little chair around like it was a stroller.

Thanks Grammie for having us over!! We had a fabulous time!

Swim Lessons Completed!!

Hooray for swim lessons being done. Emma received her certificate of completion today. We are very proud of her for sticking to it and not giving up. There were many days where she was ready to throw in the towel but some how we pressed on and survived. I am not quite sure if she learned anything but it is a memory we will have forever.

The graduating girls! A big hooray to all of them and their moms for completing swim lessons. We were glad to have friends in the class to help us through!

Celebrating with a cupcake. Yummy!

Who knew that the buckles on a high chair could bring such easy entertainment?!

Welcome to the Jungle

This weekend we decided to stay out of the heat by trying out a new place (well new to us) called Jungle Java. It is an indoor playground with many obstacles for the kids to go through. I highly recommend checking it out. Emma was in love with the place. She had plenty of room to explore everything including different slides and tunnels.

Emma and me on the toddler slide.

Let's play ball!

Emma running through one of the tunnels. This one was her favorite b/c it had an incline.

Emma and daddy on the big kid slide. Way better than the toddler one!

Emma finishing the day off with some yummy ice cream!

More please!

Swim Lessons...Week One

This week we had our first swim lessons. We still have four more days next week so we are half way there. The question is will we make it to the end? Emma really does not care for the lessons. I think I was more excited about them then her. Oh well, at least one of is benefiting from them. I am getting some water aerobics out of the deal =)

Emma and me on day one. She was very happy before the lessons started.

In the water and not happy because she just got dunked =(

Fireworks!!

This was our first year to view the fireworks with Emma. Last year we decided to skip the festivities because she was too young and would not be able to stay awake. Instead Andy and I watched them from our balcony as Emma slept. So this year we decided to go for it and keep the little one awake for the action. We were so glad we did it too. Emma LOVED the fireworks!! She kept laughing and doing the sign for more. It was awesome.

Happy 4th of July. No red, white, and blue for us b/c I completely forgot to buy something. Instead we wore our Luckenbach shirt to support an old Willie Nelson 4th of July tradition.

Playing catch with grandpa.

Is it soccer season yet?

Where there are bubbles Emma will find them. Thanks to the sweet girls that let Emma play with their bubble machine.

Fireworks time!! Emma loved asking for more.

Mr. Mom

On Friday, Andy had the day off from work so he decided to give me the day off. Always a sweetie!! My mom and I decided to take advantage of the day and head to the outlet mall in San Marcos. It was very nice being able to hang out with just my mom and have a break from being mom. Though I was calling home often to check in on my sweet girl that I was missing.

Mom come back!

Andy took Emma grocery shopping and he claims that this is what she picked out =)

Oh mom never lets me have this. Can I have it please?
