Outfit of Choice

I was recently cleaning out Abby's dresser and she saw her princess bathing suit. She is now obsessed with wearing her princess bathing suit and tutu everyday. She is always pool ready even though the rest of us are not.

Back-Up Plan Gone Bad

It is a requirement at Emma's school to have spare clothes on hand. Since these clothes stay at school, I naturally sent clothes that were not in our regular rotation. The outfit is also one that was sent on the first day of school, so I truly had no idea that by this Spring that Emma would outgrow the outfit.

My kiddo had to walk around all day with her tummy hanging out b/c she had too much fun at recess rolling in the wet grass. Sorry Emma.

Can you take a picture please?

Abby's new thing is to run up to me and ask me to take her picture with one of her toys. She is so cute and proud of her toy. The only problem is, she has a hard time sitting still for the picture.

Sunday Swinging

William got to experience his first park swing today. The weather has been so beautiful, that we have to take advantage while we can.

Bluebonnets

We were leaving a friend's house over the weekend and discovered a cute bluebonnet patch. The kids had a great time running around and I tried to get some cute photos with my phone.

Good Old Fashion Fun

Today was a hot day, so we decided to cool off with the hose. Spraying the kids reminded me of when I was little and my grandma would sit at the top of her hill and spray us as we ran down. It was pure joy and fun!

Happy 6 Months William Matthew

Already a half year old! Happy 6 months to our little man!! William is growing like crazy in all areas. He is anxious to be older so he can keep up with his sisters. We are still working on his naps but I have faith we will get there.

William at 6 months:

-Can independently sit up.

-Can rollover from front to back and back to front.

-Sleeping in his own room.

-Loves to see what is going on around him. 

-Says "mama" and other cute babbling noises.

-Enjoys trying rice cereal and sometimes applesauce.

-Learning to drink water from a sippy cup.

-Loves strolling around in his push car.

-Treats his spoon like a lollipop.

-Grabs at everything.

-Full of curiosity and smiles.

Emma's Special Heart

Happy heart day to our beautiful Emma! It has been 5 years since our little girl underwent open heart surgery. We are blessed beyond blessed that our girl is a heart warrior. To celebrate such an important day, we had a party to honor Emma. We are very thankful for all our family and friends that helped us celebrate Emma's special heart. Our day was filled with unconditional love and happiness. It feels so good to be in this spot! Emma is an amazing inspiration to all us. Love my little girl and I am beyond thankful for everyone who has helped us on our journey.

Emma and Clara Beth. Hard to believe these two were in ICU together 5 years ago. She is another heart warrior and we are so blessed to have her and her family in our lives.

Since it was Emma's special day, we let her decide what she wanted to do. Her request was a choo choo train ride.

Happy Heart Anniversary, Emma!! We love you to the moon and back and are so thankful that you are our baby girl. Thanks for teaching us what strength and pure happiness is all about.

I have no idea what happened

It was suppose to look like a bunny but something went wrong. I must add that I had no part in this but the girls had a blast and my mom is still recovering from the creation ;)
