Summer Break: Week 3

Week three was a short and busy week for us.

We got caught in a heavy down pour of rain when we were at the pool.

The girls wanted hot chocolate to warm up.

We went the museum and met up with my dear friend and her kiddos.

Attempted a play date at the park but once again the rain came in.

Our week was short because we headed out of town for a long weekend with friends. Stay tuned for that adventure!

Happy Birthday Andy!

Andy recently celebrated his 37th birthday. We had a great time celebrating with family and friends.

His birthday lunch.

He played the guitar for friends. A very rare thing.

Our neighbor made him this beautiful and yummy cake.

A fun night out with friends at a wine event our neighbor hosted.

Abby's Dance Recital

Abby had her dance recital over the weekend. She did a fabulous job with her dance and we are beyond proud of her!

Getting ready with curls and make up! I think the make up was her favorite part.

Ready to go (minus the hat).

Her professional picture.

Flowers for our little performer.

Here is a video of her dance. She is the 4th one in from the right.

Summer Break: Week 2

The kids are staying busy and I'm getting exhausted trying to keep up with all three.

We are continuing our learning with a little activity everyday.

Playing at the park and watching the construction going on.

Emma went to her second golf clinic and got hit in the head with a ball. Ouch!

Will has developed a love for t-ball.

Playing at the community pool.
We are all about the World Cup

He finally decided that he likes the neighborhood pool. Took him over an hour of screaming in my ear but he finally went in.

Look who turned 6 1/2! She has been anxious for this day.

Happy Father's Day

Andy had a wonderful Father's Day. The kids spoiled him with lots of love and attention.

We took a train ride. Always a special treat.

A family selfie.

Abby wanted a princess crown.

My favorite shot of the day. He is their biggest advocate, supporter, and fan. His love for them is unconditional.

We also got to celebrate with Papa. Papa time is one of their favorite times.

Summer Break: Week 1

We have officially kicked off our summer break. Our first week has been very busy.

Let the pool fun begin!

Our good friends moved to a new part of town and we were excited to go spend time with them at their pool.

We also celebrated our graduates.

We got signed up for the summer reading program.

Emma went to Sports Camp and had a blast. She loved trying new sports like volleyball, soccer, and t-ball.

Will's nap has become a challenge because the girls are a big distraction.

The girls were excited to be back at gymnastics.

We got a brief rain shower and the kids were trying to catch rain drops.

More pool fun at our neighbor's pool party.

If your friends jump off a bridge does that mean you should, too?

Why yes it does!

Gearing up for Emma's first golf lesson.

My little golfer.

More summer fun to come!

Weekend Getaway

Andy and I recently had a weekend getaway with friends. We had a blast touring wineries, hearing great live music, and relaxing with good friends.

We met this man 10 years ago and at the time Andy did not like wine and he told me if he doesn't like wine I should get rid of him. Glad I did not listen.

These two were mistaken as brothers.

I was very excited to hear my favorite duo.

My Kinder Graduate

It is hard to believe that kinder for Emma is already over. It was a very fast year. Emma loved kinder and her teacher and all the kids. I think she knows the name of every kid. I'm impressed by how well she did socially. She made huge strides this year and is always anxious for someone to play with. We are so proud! Hopefully I can help her arrange some play dates this summer. Academically, she did fabulous! As a former teacher, I'm very impressed with her independent reading level. Hopefully we can maintain it over the summer. We will be busy.

On graduation day.

Things I never blogged about:

Her field trip to the Children's Museum. I loved tagging along.

Her field day.

Her luau to end the year.
