Emma at the mall playing with her toys and friends.

Emma has been very busy these past few days. On Friday, we went to the mall to meet up with one of our play groups. Emma had a great time interacting with all of her friends. That evening Emma started to demonstrate the position for crawling. I think she is getting very close. I guess I better start baby proofing the house.

On Saturday, we went to cheer on Andy at his first soccer game. The Pirates did fantastic. There is alot of talent on that team. Watch out David Beckham.

9 Month Check Up

Today Emma had her 9 month check up. The doctor said she was looking great. She still is small for her age but her weight for height is normal. Now we were told to cut back on the amount of solids we are giving her. That was hard to believe for me but I understand that the doctor wants her to take more fluids. Emma did get shots today and I was not prepared for them. Emma is a warrior and only cried when she was poked.

After our doctor's appt. we has another playdate and once again we had a blast. Emma was worn out from all the fun. Thanks to everyone that came.

Our Minnesota Trip

Four generations in one picture. Emma is pictured with her mom, Mimi, and GG.

Family pic at Teddybear park.

At the park overlooking the St. Croix river.

Emma with the girls. We had party with our cousins and they were excited to meet Emma for the first time.

One day we went apple picking at the orchard. The apples were delicious and Emma's favorite part was listening to fiddle player.

We went to Como Zoo and I am not sure who had a better time, Emma or Andy. Emma's favorite exhibit was the monkeys.

Well we just got back from Minnesota and had a wonderful time visiting family. The weather was perfect and I wish I could have brought it back with me. The leaves are starting to change color and it really felt like fall. We wish we could have stayed longer. Emma met many relatives for the first time. It was a blast!

Prunes, Yum!

Look who is starting to eat solids! At 5 months of age Emma started to enjoy solids. Thanks goodness she liked something.

I will survive!

The big day! Emma had her surgery on April 7th and it was a hard day and a miraculous day all in one. She is a true fighter and survivor. Our prayers were answered and we were blessed with the best surgeon and medical staff. Thank you Dr. Frasier and all the great people at Texas Children's Hospital in Houston. These people saved our little girl. We are very thankful everyday and continue to thank God for our little Emma.

Emma was baptized on Easter Sunday. Her Godparents are Kristen's Uncle Steve and Aunt Mary. It was a wonderful ceremony and celebration. Thanks to everyone who came.

Smile for the camera

Emma shows off her beautiful smile for the first time at 2 months of age.

Emma has arrived! She was born on 12/20/07 at 5:02 am. It was a very quick labor and delivery. Thank goodness! Now the journey begins for our wonderful family.

In the beginning you might find old pics and past events b/c we would like to get everyone up to speed. We do hope you enjoy the blog and feel free to leave your lovely comments.
