Auntie Amy Comes to Town

Auntie Amy came to visit us all the way from Cali. We had a blast spending quality time together. I loved having an adult to talk to during the day and I think Emma was in love with all the attention. She worked her magic wand while she was here and made us a delicious meal (did I mention she is a chef), helped me with crazy motherhood moments, and she got Emma to go potty on her big girl potty. I think she needs to visit us more often!

The other day Abby was wearing a shirt that said "Happy" and I thought that is right, you are happy! So here are some pics of my happy little lady.

We have been working on sitting up. We are getting close!!

Extreme Fun

Over the weekend, Emma had a birthday party for one of her classmates at Extreme Fun. We had not been there since Emma was 1 1/2 years old. I thought it would be fun to do a then and now blogpost, with Emma playing in the same bounce area.

The big difference this time around is that Emma actually enjoys bounce houses now. It was very hard getting her to leave. I guess we need to do this more often.

Bueller??

So I am curious to know if anyone reads our blog anymore? I sometimes feel like since we went private we lost some of our readers. That is ok b/c I care more about our privacy then the amount of people that tap into our blog. I am a super paranoid person when it comes to my privacy and my kids privacy. Anyways, I do hope we still have some people that like to check in and see what our little family is up to.

My Sweethearts

We had a fabulous Valentine's Day. For our day we had a family party at home.

To start things off we tried to take some cute pictures of our little sweethearts.

For dinner we made homemade heart shaped pizzas. Emma got a kick out of putting cheese on the pizza. She is a fabulous helper in the kitchen.

Then to finish it all off we had some yummy homemade treats. We had chocolate covered strawberries, rice krispy treats, and a fudge cake.

It was a great celebration. I think I have the best valentine's in the world. All of us are spoiled with love.

Abby's First B-day Party

One of our favorite little dudes turned 1 this past Saturday. Abby and I were super excited to celebrate Dawson's special day. It was a fabulous party for the babies and the mommies. Hard to believe that Dawson is already a year! We a very thankful to have Dawson and his family in our lives. They are just fabulous!

I just love my growing family. Now if only we lived closer together. Maybe someday...

Happy 5 Months Abigail Marian

Happy 5 months to our beautiful baby girl!! We are so in love with our little lady and just enjoy everything about her. She is just filled with so much joy and laughter. Abby has been busy this past month with trying new things like eating solids and trying to learn to sit up.

Abigail Marian at 5 months:

-Still has big blue eyes (I think they are going to stay and not turn brown)

-Hair is growing more and more. Somedays it looks light brown and others it looks strawberry blond. Only time will tell.

-Wearing 3-6 months clothes and a size 2 diaper.

-Has tried oatmeal and applesauce. Loves to suck on apple slices.

-Learning to sit up on her own.

-Loves showing off her sweet little voice. She loves to babble and sing for us.

-A very curious little girl. Enjoys taking in everything around her and always wants to be part of the group.

-Enjoys having her big sister around. I love that they can learn from each other and Emma loves to play with her.

-Is slowly getting on a sleep schedule. We have the night time down but the day time hours are still flexible. She usually takes 2-3 naps a day.

-Enjoys swinging in the backyard. It puts the biggest smile on her face.

-Whatever she can put in her mouth she will. That tooth is still trying to work its way in.
