Little Man Shoes

Will got his first pair of shoes over the weekend. He is still trying to figure out how to take steps in them. I think his favorite part about them are the velcro straps.

Sight Words

Little man wanted to try out Emma's sight words. He would point to them just like Emma does and make some babble. Smart little guy. :)

My Babies!

I feel like there is a ton of reflecting going on in my life right now. Mainly it is because my youngest is about to be one. As I am making his one year video, I keep looking back at where all my babies were at a year. Their lives are going by so quickly. I want a pause button and I want to keep them little. I know life can be very challenging with kids and especially three kids but it is worth it. They all hold a special place in my heart and they all shine in their own way. I love how they are so different but all so lovable at the same time. They are my hearts and I could not imagine life without them.

One special thing about them is how they all hold their own unique look. Here is a picture of each of them around 11/12 months.

A Curious Painter

William is always curious to know what his sisters are doing and usually wants to join in with them. The other day he wanted to try painting. It lasted all but a few seconds but he was happy to try.

It's a tennis thing

Emma's newest obsession is tennis. She is very interested in learning to play. We love playing in the driveway or the courts. She even showed us some moves she learned from watching the U.S. Open. Love watching her!

A Royal Celebration

Princess Abby needed a royal celebration to celebrate her third birthday. We had a blast making her feel like a princess on her birthday and for her party. I realized after the party that I never took any pictures of the decor or even Abby in her pink princess gown. She just might have to dress up again so I can get a picture. I don't think she will mind since she always loves being a princess.

Her Royal Highness

Papa came over to help her make a pink sparkle cake.

She was more interested in eating the frosting.

Putting on the sparkle (edible glitter).

Her creation.

Blowing out the candles.

Lovely ladies.

We kicked off her party with some wrestling with Kenzie & Dawson.

Some cookie decorating.

Making crowns and magic wands.

A dance party.

Happy Birthday Princess Abby.

Now I have to figure out how to get rid of all the glitter in my house. It is everywhere.

Happy 11 Months William Matthew

I can't believe this is William's last birthday month before he turns one. My last baby is not going to be a baby for much longer. I feel like he is constantly wanting to be older than he is. He is desperate for wanting to keep up with his sisters and do everything we are doing. Fear is not in his vocabulary because he will go after anything and try everything. He is sweet and destructive all at the same time. He is our little man and we can't get enough of him.

William Matthew at 11 months:

  • Quick to get into trouble and does it with a smile and laugh.
  • Constantly trying to walk. Will take a few steps at a time before sitting down.
  • Always on the hunt to put something in his mouth.
  • Willing to try any food and is a very good eater.
  • Adjusting to one nap a day.
  • Loves music, instruments, and dancing.
  • Has two bottom and two top teeth and two additional top teeth are coming in.
  • Enjoys pointing at what he wants or what he is curious about.
  • Loves to flip pages in books but not very interested in sitting still for a story.
  • Digs through the recycling box constantly.
  • Enjoys nontraditional toys like boxes, measuring cups, and pie tins.
  • Starting to get tired of his car seat and screams when you put him in it.
  • Has become very comfortable with his screaming voice and he is not afraid to use it.
  • Loves to be tickled and loved on and it is hard to resist his cuteness.
I feel like he looks much older in these pictures than he really is.

He was not interested in sitting for the camera and decided to give some attitude.

And his silliness.

Happy Birthday Abigail Marian!

Happy 3rd birthday to our beautiful Abigail!! Abby is becoming a big girl more and more everyday. She is constantly changing and I just want to stop time so I don't miss a thing. I am loving her little personality and all the things she is into. She is my little buddy and an easy buddy at that. Abby does such a good job following directions and playing with others. She is an amazing, smart, friendly, beautiful little girl and I am so blessed to be her mom.

My little princess.

Make a wish!

Abigail Marian at 3 years:

Weight: 31.2 lbs (50%)
Height: 38 inches (75%)

  • Loves anything girly, especially princesses, make up, and stuffed animals (her horse, cat, and fish).
  • Enjoys being creative and playing with play-doh and drawing.
  • LOVES to dance.
  • Would prefer to wear a tutu everyday.
  • Has a huge sweet tooth and loves to taste the batter of anything I am baking.
  • Gettings extremely excited over the little things.
  • Emma is her best friend and loves to tell Emma that she loves her.
  • Loves to make Will laugh.
  • Obsessed with cars like her big sister.
  • Enjoys being at home. Activities are fun for her but she likes to have some down time at home and is content with having no plans.
  • Loves the t.v. a little bit too much. We have to limit her viewing because she could watch it all day. Her favorite shows are Angelina, Doc McStuffins, and Jake and the Neverland Pirates.
  • Could easily spend her days looking at books. She is really into Fancy Nancy, these days.
  • An easy, fun loving kid that I am so happy to call my little girl.

Happy birthday to my beautiful girl!!

Abigail's 1st Day of Preschool

Abby had her first day of preschool today. She started a new school this year and is very excited to be in class with two of her friends. I was very hesitant on putting her in three days a week because I just love spending time with her and I miss her when she is away. I know it is good for social skills, especially since her favorite buddy is in school full time. I hope Abby has a fabulous year!

My little lady.

Her "All About Abby" poster. A few of the questions:
What do you want to be when you grow up: A princess
Where is your favorite place: The pool
What is your favorite thing to do: Dance and play with Play-Doh
If you had one wish, what would you wish for: To ride an elephant =)

On her way!
