We started our 4th of July at a neighborhood parade and festival. The girls loved watching people walk by in their dressed up wagons and have candy thrown at them. The highlight of the parade was the big fire truck.
At the festival, Emma enjoyed some bounce houses and a choo choo ride.
Later in the day we headed over to my parents for some family fun at their neighborhood pool. It was a great way to beat the heat.
We were sad that the fireworks were cancelled but we still made the most of our 4th of July.

Sounds like a good time...the girls look so cute in the water together.
What a busy, fun day! Your parents do have the best pool! Sorry the fireworks were canceled. :( That stinks!
