Happy 4th Birthday Abby!

Happy 4th Birthday to my beautiful Abigail! Words cannot express how much I love her. My love for her grows more and more everyday. She brings us so much love and joy and I'm so blessed to be her mom.

Abby at 4:

- Definitely my girly girl. Loves princesses, dressing up, getting her nails done, putting on make up, etc.
- She is coming out of her shy shell. Enjoys making friends and loves having play dates.
- Loves playing make believe and could do it all day. My Little Pony and princesses are her favorite toys to do make believe with.
- Enjoys reading and tries to memorize books and make up stories to go with the pictures.
- If she could have it her way she would watch movies and tv for a good part of her day. We have to limit her but she definitely has the best laugh during the funny parts.
- Enjoys arts and crafts. She can color for hours.
- Wants to have homework like Emma. She is really into math.
- Usually the last to fall asleep and last to wake up. If no one bothers her she can sleep until 8:30-9:00.
- Sweetest little lady around.

Getting her first pedicure on her birthday.

Pure excitement.

Abby's First Day of Preschool

Abby had her first day of preschool today. She was very excited to be with her friends again but was not thrilled with having to wear the school shirt.

Her homework assignment.

With a few of her friends.

In her classroom.

Reunited at last! She had a great first day but missed her like crazy.

1st Day of 1st Grade

Emma started first grade yesterday. She was excited to be going and had a great first day.

On her way.

Putting her stuff in her locker.

With her teacher.

One last hug before they part for another school year. It is hard having them be apart because they are best buddies.

I hope she continues to grow and develop her social skills and has a successful academic year. And I can already tell she is going to rock it!

Summer Break: Week 10 & 11

My final post on summer. It was by far the fastest summer. We had a blast, got to travel, play with friends, and try new adventures. Great memories were made.

Visiting our pals that moved south.

Emma had a request for bowling before summer ended.

Pool time with old friends.

Riding through sprinklers.

Fountain fun at night.

The girls got to go to their first IMAX movie.

Our giving back day. The kids got some money, shopped at the store, and donated to the food bank.

Back to school hair trims.

Abby wrapped up summer gymnastics. Emma missed because she was sick.

Lunch with daddy.

Queen Elsa x2.

Meeting Dorothy after watching The Wizard of Oz.

We will miss you summer 2014!

Summer Break: Week 7, 8, & 9

I've totally fell off the blogging world (what else is new) but want to finish blogging about summer before school starts. Hard to believe that is less than a week away.

Emma returned to science camp and loved it.

Andy's folks visited and we celebrated Grandpa's retirement.

All aboard!

Kids with both sets of grandparents. Pretty special.

She made on the big screen at the museum.

We made blue volcanoes.

We checked out a new to us splash pad.

Loving the water slide.

Story time at the library.

Jumpstreet fun.

We got new floors. So pretty.

She was excited she passed the swim test for the big slides.

A little baseball.

We got to go to a bunny farm.

Flying high.

Emma LOVED golf camp.

Checking out some new glasses.

More museum fun with friends.

We've been busy!
