Happy 5 Months William Matthew

I'm a few days late on this one but our little man is now 5 months. Time is flying! William is growing so much and so fast. This month has probably been our most challenging. Will struggles with daytime naps. Between the girl's different schedules and William not liking to fall asleep and stay asleep on his own, it makes for challenges. I know we will get it all worked out. It's a good thing he is so darn cute and easy to cuddle. Makes the challenging days a little easier.

He discovered his toes this month and loves to grab them.

• rolling onto his side
• pushing himself backwards when he is doing tummy time
• loves to grab any book you read to him
• enjoys looking in the mirror
• obsessed with him mommy and always needs her attention

Happy 5 months to our amazing guy!!

Look Who's 2 1/2 Today...

My spunky, beautiful Abby is!! This little lady brings so many smiles and laughs to our family. She is so fun to be around and if she would let me, I would just give her squeezes and kisses all day.

• loves to play with others and tells them to come on.
• can be shy at first but once she likes you she is all about you.
• very much into princesses, her cat, cars, and her leapfrog dog.
• her big sister is her best friend.
• loves to jump on trampolines.
• enjoys going to gymnastics and trying out all the equipment.
• loves to dance and listen to music.
• likes to help me bake so that she can lick the bowl. 
• enjoys reading books and being read to.
• very picky about what she wears. No pants allowed. Only skirts with leggings and dresses.
• loves to watch movies.
• Always full of smiles.

Kite Festival

On Sunday, we ventured down to Zilker for Austin's annual Kite Festival. It is one of our favorite traditions. We all had a great time flying kites and playing with friends and neighbors we met up with. It was a great day and I loved watching the girls learn how to fly a kite. Only a few pictures were to be had that day because I was too busy having fun.

Enjoying the Swing

William got to experience swinging for the first time. I loved being hands free and he enjoyed the ride. Abby was a fabulous big sister and helped with pushing him.
