Bubblepalooza

Over the weekend we checked out Bubblepalooza downtown. The kids had a great time checking out all the activities.

A little hula hoop action.

A fan favorite, the H-E-Buddy.

Listening to some live music.

Hiding under the parachute.

Abby loved painting herself with bubbles. She could not get enough of it.

My little bubble face baby.

Meow

We have found ourselves with two new cats, which goes against my rule of getting a pet. I guess since they are so cute I will keep them.

Getting Creative

Sometime we find new uses for our toys.

With our Thomas the Train wall decals, we can create new shoes.

And we can turn our indoor slide into a gymnastics apparatus.

I think Abby earned a perfect 10 with her fancy moves.

Pioneer Farms

Last Friday we took a field trip with our neighbors to Pioneer Farms. The place is set up to be a living history museum. Everyone on the farms dresses the part and you are able to learn what it was like to live on a farm in the 1800s. The girls enjoyed it at first but between the walking and heat they were done half way through. I would love to go back when the weather is cooler because I think the kids would take to it better. If you ask them what they liked about the day they will tell you it was riding in my neighbors minivan and watching a movie. I guess I need to upgrade the interior of my car.

The sibling picture attempt.

A picture of the ladies.

Chatting on the front porch.

Checking out the buggy.

Looking in on one of the rooms. Most rooms were roped off but when no one was looking Emma would sneak under the rope.

Cooking in the outdoor kitchen.

Barn animal time. First up were the cows.

Some bunnies. Abby's favorite.

The blacksmith was busy making arrowheads.

The donkeys.

The 300 pound pig. If you got too close she would shake mud on you.

And we are done. The kids were beyond hot and tired.

My Almost Toddler

Oh my goodness in one month my little Abby is going to be an official toddler. I still love to call her my baby and she always likes to tell me that she is not a baby. At times she seems to have the personality of a teenager. She is just growing up too fast. We love her to pieces and hope that time slows down.

The other day she needed to try out her old car seat and pretend she was a baby.

Here she is in her car seat for the first time. She was so little!

Emma had to give it a try, too.

My Olympians

We are very into the Olympics around here and the kids are always wanting to watch it. Some of their favorite sports to watch are gymnastics, swimming, volleyball, and Emma just discovered equestrianism. Below are some videos of them trying to be like the Olympians they see on t.v. Emma said she wanted to go into the t.v. to be at the Olympics. Maybe someday...

31 weeks

I had my 31 week appointment yesterday. Everything is going great. The baby is now measuring on target. I guess all the chocolate chip cookies I have been eating has helped :)  As for me, the doctor has put me on an antibiotic due to a possible blood infection in my leg. I don't think my left leg can take much more and it looks like someone has beaten me up. I just hope it all goes away once the baby is born. Other than that I feel great and am still enjoying my sleep and exercise. The Olympics sure do keep me motivated.

My 31 week bump.
