Weekend Getaway

Andy and I recently had a weekend getaway with friends. We had a blast touring wineries, hearing great live music, and relaxing with good friends.

We met this man 10 years ago and at the time Andy did not like wine and he told me if he doesn't like wine I should get rid of him. Glad I did not listen.

These two were mistaken as brothers.

My Kinder Graduate

It is hard to believe that kinder for Emma is already over. It was a very fast year. Emma loved kinder and her teacher and all the kids. I think she knows the name of every kid. I'm impressed by how well she did socially. She made huge strides this year and is always anxious for someone to play with. We are so proud! Hopefully I can help her arrange some play dates this summer. Academically, she did fabulous! As a former teacher, I'm very impressed with her independent reading level. Hopefully we can maintain it over the summer. We will be busy.

Memorial Weekend

During Memorial Weekend we took a trip out to the lake to spend time with friends and enjoy the water. The kids had a blast playing with friends and the girls loved going kayaking for the first time.

Last Day of School

Abby had her last day of school last week. She had a fantastic year in the 2 1/2 year old class. Her teachers said she is a very smart girl, does well following directions, kind to other kids, and becoming more social. We are very proud of our little love bug!

Abby's school held their annual splash day. She had a blast getting wet and cooling down with Popsicle.

Two for One

Our anniversary and Mother's Day feel on the same day this year. Lucky for us my folks took the kids on Saturday so we could enjoy our day. We loved kicking back and enjoyed our city. It was nice to not be on anyone's schedule.

Funky Fun Color Run

Emma's school hosted a fun color run. Me and the girls dressed in our white shirts ready to take on the color. The only problem was Abby bailed on us right at the start. So Emma and I took on the fun together.
