Happy 9 Months William Matthew

Our little man is 9 months old today! William is growing up so fast and constantly changing. He loves everything about life, except sleepy time and reading books. The boy is out to conquer the world. He never stops moving and getting into things. It is never a dull moment in our house and we are beyond blessed to have our little man. I just want to bottle up all these moments and savor my last baby.

William Matthew at 9 months:

Height: 27 1/2 inches (50%)
Weight: 18 1/2 lbs (40%)
Head Cir: 46cm (75%)

Tidbits about William:

  • Moving on from purees. He still eats them but would rather have table food. Thankfully he is willing to try anything right now.
  • Another tooth is slowly working its way in.
  • Trying to stand on his own without holding onto anything. Loves to push off Andy to do this.
  • Loves to babble. He loves to say mama, dada, baba, and yaya.
  • Out to take any toy he can away from whomever has it. And he gets very mad if you take a toy away from him.
  • Never stays in one place for long. He loves to be with everyone and if you leave the room, he will come a try and find you.
  • Outlets are his new discovery. He can't get enough of them.
  • If he can climb it, he will or at least try.
  • Loves to clap with you and trying to figure out waving.
  • Sometimes will sign "all done."
  • Still a tough napper, even though we have consistency.
  • The cutest little man ever!!

William at 9 months.

He did not want to sit still for pictures.

Taking his bath without the baby tub. Big boy!

Climbing up the slide and he is very close to getting to the top all on his own.

Even the calendar is not safe.

His stunning blue eyes.

Happy 4th

We had a great time celebrating the 4th. It was a day spent with family and friends and enjoying the pool, a cookout, and the community celebration. After it all, I realized that I really did not take many pictures.

We did make little wands and the girls liked waving them.

I love how in this picture it looks like Emma is granting Abby's wish.

We went to our local 4th celebration. The kids had fun playing with friends and watching the fireworks.

My attempt at the impossible.

We played some ringtoss.

Did someone say ringtoss!!!!

Playing frisbee with Gammie and Kenzie.

A moment of the show.

Happy 4th of July!

Vail Day 5: Enjoying the Day

On our last day I just wanted us to enjoy the day, the town, and the scenery. Vail is my dream place and I wanted to soak in the beauty of it and the sounds of simplicity.

Hanging in our pajamas.

The condo got really quiet and this is why, all the big kids were hiding and giggling in the closet. Love cousin time!

We ventured through the farmer's market and picked up some yummy treats.

This little guy thought he found gold with this rock.

We walked the same trails we biked the day before. I wanted to take some pictures of the scenery because it is absolutely beautiful. My pictures don't do it justice.

The kids were obsessed with throwing rocks in the water. I love the pure joy of this activity.

Enjoying some ice cream after our walk.

Will loved he first bite of ice cream.

A picture of all the grandkids with Gammie and Papa. So blessed!

Riding the bus on our way to dinner in Vail Village.

Walking to the restaurant.

The view.

After dinner we roasted marshmallows at the condo. We planned to do it in the fire pit by the pool but they closed it due to a storm rolling through. Abby loved roasting with Uncle Nate.

Last bite of sweetness in Vail.

Another fabulous trip in Vail has come and gone. Of course I am constantly trying to convince Andy that we need to move there. I love that life there is slow pace and simple. Being with nature just makes me happy and I love watching my kids embrace their surroundings. It is pure joy!

Vail Day 4: Bikes, Balloons, and Pizza Making

Our 4th day was another fun filled day. We started the day off with a fun bike ride on the trails and through the villages. The scenery was amazing and the kids loved stopping off at the Children's Fountain to cool off.
Our bikes.

Splashing around.

Later in the day we went to the courtyard for the weekly children's activity fair. The kids had a blast making crafts.

Me and my little man snuggling.

A little face paint.

They had a water balloon throwing contest. Some how the girls made it down to the final three. I don't think the judges were noticing that these two ladies were not throwing it, but instead just handing it to each other. Emma finally got tired of the game and just threw the balloon to the ground and found that to be more fun.

We took a break from the fair to enjoy the water.

Thankfully we made it back for the pizza throwing contest. Can you spot Abby in the picture. She sure knows how to jump.

Ready to make some pizza.

At the end of the day we had a great view of the super moon.

One day to go. Stay tune for day 5.
