New Jersey Day 4 & 5: Weekend Fun

The main reason for our visit was to introduce Abby to Solomon side of the family. We spent to weekend hanging out with everyone that we could. The girls had a blast getting spoiled by love and attention and Andy and I enjoyed catching up with our family that we do not get to see very often.

Emma with Aunt Janet. Emma loved spending time with her.
The girls were also spoiled with many new gifts. Thanks everyone!!

Taking a family stroll in the neighborhood before dinner.
Playing in the leaves with Grandpa.

We had a little birthday celebration for the girls.

On Sunday morning we went and checked out the local apple orchard. The girls loved the animals and tractors at the orchard.

The girls got to feed some of the barnyard animals.

Later on in the day we headed to Aunt Janet's house for some more family time. The kids loved playing at Janet's house. She has everything a kid could ask for. Thanks Janet!!

We were so happy to spend time with our family. It is hard living so far away from each other. The girls absolutely loved being surrounded by everyone.

New Jersey Day 3: Please Touch Museum

On day 3 of our vacation, we headed into Philadelphia to the Please Touch Children's Museum. I heard great things about the museum and was very excited to check it out. The place was more than I could have ever imagined. For a moment, it made me wished I lived in Philadelphia just so I could take the kids to the museum all the time. It was wonderful!

The group, right outside the museum.
Emma's first stop was the bus.

Abby has inherited the Erickson gene for cars. She was interested in what was under the hood.

Later in the day, we headed over the Princeton University to walk around the campus. I just love this campus and the architecture of the buildings. It is just beautiful. Every time we go to visit our family, I look forward to seeing the campus.

New Jersey Trip: Day 1 & 2

Last Wednesday we woke up extremely early and headed to New Jersey for a week. We had a wonderful trip visiting family and enjoying some activities and beautiful fall weather.

Once we arrived on our first day, we decided to take Yaya and Grandpa's new puppy, Remy, on a walk to the park. The weather was beautiful and I could not get enough of all the fall colors. I think Emma was tired of me pointing out all the different leaves. I so wish we had that here.

Emma helping with the dog walking. Thankfully, Remy was a good trooper and did not mind the girls being all over her and her space.

Two of my favorite people.
Pure beauty.
I was trying to get Emma to hold up a red leaf.
We did find some snow on the ground from a huge snow storm they had the previous week.
Time to play.

On our walk home, we ran into Grandpa coming home from work.

On our second day, we decided to take it easy and enjoy the town of Princeton. We checked out the library story time, got some new shoes, played at the toy store, and had more park time. I realized after the trip that I only took pictures at the library. Oh well, there are many more pictures to come.

The girls loved the aquarium at the library.
The found Nemo.
The bean bags were the best part of story time for these girls. They were not interested in the stories.

Stay tune for Day 3.

My Little Cowgirl

Emma got a kick out of putting on my cowgirl boots. I was happy to share, especially since she looks so darn cute in them.
