First Haircut

I've been avoiding Will's first haircut. I really wanted him to have long hair, well long for a boy. Andy begged for his hair to get cut because it was always in his eyes. I finally got up the nerve to do it and now my baby looks like an official 2 year old.

Two days before his haircut.

Let it begin. He was a little scared at first but quickly warmed up to it.

His new do.

Happy Halloween from The Bat Family

We loved dressing up as batman and batgirl and hitting the streets to trick or treat with our favorite crime stoppers.

Happy 2nd Birthday William Matthew

I turned my eyes away for one moment and little man turned 2! My baby is now a toddler but if you ask him, he is a big kid.

William at 2:

-constantly trying to keep up with his sisters and the neighbor kids.
-loves Mater (but calls him Nemo), Lightning, and Elmo.
-can name every princess and my little pony. Gotta love sisters.
-eats pepperoni like it's going out of style.
-loves music and signing and dancing along.
-enjoys playing sports. T-ball, tennis, soccer, etc.
-being outside is his favorite place.
-has discovered the fun of talking on the phone.
-loves the iPad and TV.
-my little cuddle buddy.
-gets a kick out of Papa's truck and cars.
-likes to be a helper around the house.
-attempts to count to 5 and does pretty good.
-a very sweet, lovable, smart, handsome little dude.

We always sing at breakfast and he wanted applesauce. Thankfully the candle held up.

Choo choo ride to celebrate.

Happy Birthday William!

Friday Night Lights

The girls got to experience their first football game. Since Emma is in grade school she gets to be in a program that allows her to run the field before the game.

My little fan.

Can you see her running the field?

Abby was in love with the drill team and cheerleaders. She was trying to copy their moves.

Happy 4th Birthday Abby!

Happy 4th Birthday to my beautiful Abigail! Words cannot express how much I love her. My love for her grows more and more everyday. She brings us so much love and joy and I'm so blessed to be her mom.

Abby at 4:

- Definitely my girly girl. Loves princesses, dressing up, getting her nails done, putting on make up, etc.
- She is coming out of her shy shell. Enjoys making friends and loves having play dates.
- Loves playing make believe and could do it all day. My Little Pony and princesses are her favorite toys to do make believe with.
- Enjoys reading and tries to memorize books and make up stories to go with the pictures.
- If she could have it her way she would watch movies and tv for a good part of her day. We have to limit her but she definitely has the best laugh during the funny parts.
- Enjoys arts and crafts. She can color for hours.
- Wants to have homework like Emma. She is really into math.
- Usually the last to fall asleep and last to wake up. If no one bothers her she can sleep until 8:30-9:00.
- Sweetest little lady around.

Getting her first pedicure on her birthday.

Pure excitement.

Abby's First Day of Preschool

Abby had her first day of preschool today. She was very excited to be with her friends again but was not thrilled with having to wear the school shirt.

Her homework assignment.

With a few of her friends.

In her classroom.

Reunited at last! She had a great first day but missed her like crazy.

1st Day of 1st Grade

Emma started first grade yesterday. She was excited to be going and had a great first day.

On her way.

Putting her stuff in her locker.

With her teacher.

One last hug before they part for another school year. It is hard having them be apart because they are best buddies.

I hope she continues to grow and develop her social skills and has a successful academic year. And I can already tell she is going to rock it!
